| The newly developed Synchrospeed
technology in connection with the successful profilator method will set new standards for
machining and set-up times in your production. Using "electronic
synchronization" between workpiece rotation and cutting tool rotation, the new
Profilator model RM 80 becomes most flexible. This flexibility increases with the combination R/M toolspindle (R = vertical position, M = horizontal position) and easy accessible, pre programmed synchronization ratios. Those features allow the production of a wide range of different geometries. Those geometric forms can range from front serrations, squares, hexagons and other polygonal shapes, to hand-tool profiles such as Phillips or Torx@. |
Major advantage of the electronic
synchronization is the capability to reach higher surface speeds with higher cutting
speeds. This leads to shorter production times, better surface finishes and more accuracy.
Simultaneous deburring can be added very economically. The operator friendly machine design allows to change from polygonal profiles to toothed wheel work in a matter of minutes. Because of the very high positioning-accuracy other processes like chamfering or turn-on operations can be easily integrated. With its modular design the Wera-Profilator RM 80 -Synchrospeed can be economically upgraded or modified at any later date. We also offer a wide range of modular automation systems for various application and production requirements. |
