Specially developed Honing wheels allow for high material removal values with excellent Gear Quality.


Through combined Research and Development with our Tooling partner Tyrolit-Reineke we are able to increase the life of the Tools and shorten the cycle time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Machine…

… Less is more

 

The “SynchroFine® 205 HS” 

The World Renowned PRÄWEMA Hone quality.

 

The direct drive and digitally controlled Spindles for Tool and Workpiece are the true heart of the machine. Additionally the installation of high performance drives allows for an extremely precise and solid synchronization between the Tool and Workpiece.

The machine has been built on a natural granite base to prevent vibration as well as providing thermal stability. The X and Z axes of the SynchroFine® 205 HS are equipped with Linear motors, which provide a High Dynamic Stability that results in better machining quality, while significantly reducing cycle time.

 

Emphasis is placed in Operation and Service functions. For example, the Hone spindle rotates its axis to a vertical position to allow for an easy replacement of the Hone Stone.
The Clamping of the Hone stone is quick and easy with a hydraulic centering System.

The Concept …

The design of the Machine allows for the simplest of Automation concepts. The C axis spindle positions the Workpiece as well as the Dresser tools for loading and unloading functions.
The X-Axis is designed to travel to the Load and Unload position, as well as additional stations, such as a 2-Flank-Roll Checker.
The specially developed Operating Screens provide simple, logical operational sequence and allows for a quick and efficient operation of the machine.
That is how gear honing is made easy.

 

 

The Automation …
There is a large selection of Automation possibilities to Load parts into the machine. The Automation is designed individually, according to our customers need for capacity or Floor plan area.
For Shaft style parts there are Robots, Pallet systems, and Conveyors available, as shown in the following pictures.

The Cycle time …



With every new Machine generation PRÄWEMA has been able to drastically reduce the Cycle time.

In 1999 the SynchroFine HFSL 202 produced the above part in approx. 80 Seconds, with the new SynchroFine® 204 HS it is possible to obtain a cycle times of less than 40 sec.
